Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Elevated Health Coverage (“we,” “us,” “our”) — including our brands Gold Standard Brokerage and A-Player Agency — collects, uses, and protects your information when you request insurance information, work with one of our licensed agents, or otherwise interact with us.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name, phone number, email address, mailing address or ZIP code, date of birth, household and dependent details, income range, and information about your current or desired insurance coverage. We also collect basic technical information (such as pages visited) when you use our websites.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to prepare insurance quotes, contact you about your request, schedule and confirm appointments, service your policy, send reminders and updates, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations that apply to licensed insurance producers.

SMS / Text Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in — verbally to a licensed agent, by checking the consent box on our web form, or in writing on a paper form — you agree to receive text messages from Elevated Health Coverage (including our Gold Standard Brokerage and A-Player Agency brands) about your insurance quote, appointment reminders and confirmations, and coverage or account updates.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply HELP for help or STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in/consent with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing under any circumstances. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to provide our services — for example, with insurance carriers to prepare a quote or service a policy at your request, and with the service providers listed below, each under a written agreement that limits them to processing the data on our instructions. As stated above, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing. We may disclose information when required by law, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.

Service Providers We Use

These are the companies that process personal information on our behalf, and what each one handles. All are located in the United States or process our data in the United States.

  • Supabase — our database, sign-in, and application servers. This is where your record lives.
  • Twilio — text messages and phone calls to and from our agents, including call recordings where they are made.
  • Twilio SendGrid — email sent to you by our agents, and email you send back.
  • Stripe — payments made by our agents for their own use of the platform. Stripe is the only party that receives card details; we never see or store a card number.
  • Netlify — hosting for our websites.
  • Google — calendar and scheduling where an agent has connected it.

Insurance carriers, and the underwriting and enrollment systems they operate, receive the information needed to quote or issue the coverage you asked for. Once a carrier has your application, that carrier’s own privacy policy governs what it does with it.

Payments

Our agents pay us for their subscription and for messaging credit through Stripe. If you are a consumer working with one of our agents, we never charge you — you pay your premium to the insurance carrier, not to us, and we hold no payment method of yours.

Automated Decisions and Artificial Intelligence

We think you are entitled to a straight answer about this, so here it is.

  • No decision about your coverage, eligibility, or price is made by software. Quotes come from carrier rates; the decision to approve, decline, or rate a policy is the carrier’s, made by the carrier’s underwriters.
  • We do not send your information to an artificial-intelligence service. Your name, health details, and messages are not used to train anyone’s model, and are not passed to a chatbot or language model by our systems.
  • Routing is a rule, not a judgment. When a new enquiry is assigned to an agent, it is matched on the state you live in, the product you asked about, and whose turn it is. There is no scoring or profiling of you involved.
  • Every message you receive was sent by a person. Some message wording is written in advance and reused, and some of that wording was drafted with the help of AI writing tools, in the same way a brochure might be. A licensed human agent chooses to send it to you.

If we ever change any of this, we will say so here before it takes effect.

Cookies

Our websites may use basic cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may opt out of text messages any time by replying STOP. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below, subject to recordkeeping obligations that apply to insurance transactions.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 except as part of a household application submitted by a parent or guardian.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.

Health Information

To prepare accurate quotes, you may share health-related details with your agent (for example: conditions, medications, height and weight, or household information). We are an insurance agency, not a medical provider, and we are generally not a HIPAA “covered entity” — but we treat this information as sensitive. It is used only for quoting, eligibility, and underwriting; it is shared only with the insurance carriers being quoted or applied to (and their underwriting services); and it is never sold or used for unrelated marketing.

Call Recording

Calls with our agents may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, and compliance. Where state law requires, you will be notified on the call.

Data Retention

We keep records of quotes, applications, communications, and consent (including text-message opt-ins and opt-outs) for as long as needed to service your policy and to meet legal, regulatory, and record-keeping requirements, then delete or de-identify them.

Your State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state (including California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to correct it, or to request deletion (subject to legal record-keeping exceptions). We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email us at the address below — we will verify your request and respond within the time required by your state’s law, and we will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. If you would still like written confirmation of that, ask us using the details below and we will send it.
